EXTERIOR PAINTING
Your exterior is the first thing every guest and neighbor sees — and the first line of defense against Lowcountry sun, salt and storms. We make it beautiful and keep it protected.

Exterior painting built for the Lowcountry climate
Charleston is hard on paint. Intense UV, salt air, humidity and driving summer storms will find every shortcut a painter takes. That’s why our exterior projects start with real preparation — pressure washing, scraping, sanding, priming bare wood and re-caulking every gap — before the first coat of premium 100% acrylic paint goes on.
We paint siding, stucco, brick, Hardie board, trim, shutters, porches and more, using state-of-the-art lift equipment to reach every corner safely. The result is a finish that looks stunning and lasts — completed on time, on budget and with a spotless cleanup.
Rotten trim or damaged siding? Our carpentry team repairs it before we paint, and our pressure washing service keeps the whole property fresh between repaints. Proudly serving Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, North Charleston, Goose Creek, James Island, Johns Island, Daniel Island and the surrounding Lowcountry.
Our process
- Walkthrough & free estimate. we inspect every side of the home, flag any rot or damage, and leave a written, itemized quote.
- Pressure wash. mildew, chalk and salt film stripped off so paint can actually bond.
- Prep. scraping, sanding, priming bare wood, re-caulking gaps and repairing damaged trim — Charleston weather finds every shortcut, so we don’t take any.
- Protection. landscaping, windows, roofing and hardware masked and covered.
- Paint. premium 100% acrylic coatings applied by brush, roller or spray — whatever the surface calls for — with lift equipment for safe access to every corner.
- Final walkthrough. we inspect the whole exterior with you and handle any touch-ups on the spot.
What affects the cost
- Square footage and number of stories
- Siding material — wood, stucco, brick and Hardie board each prep differently
- Condition of the existing paint — peeling and chalking mean more prep
- Carpentry repairs for rotten trim or damaged siding before painting
- Trim, shutters, porches, doors and detail work beyond the body color
Every project gets a written, itemized estimate up front — free, with no obligation — so you know exactly what you’re paying for before we open a single can of paint.
How long does it take?
Most single-family exteriors take under a week including prep and weather days; larger or heavily detailed homes can run longer. We schedule around the forecast and give you a specific timeline with your estimate.
Frequently asked questions
What time of year is best for exterior painting in Charleston?
We paint exteriors most of the year in the Lowcountry’s mild climate — we simply plan around rain and the worst summer humidity, and we won’t paint on days the finish could suffer.
Will you fix rotten wood before painting?
Yes — our carpentry team repairs rotten trim, fascia and siding before paint goes on, so you’re not sealing problems underneath a fresh coat.
How do you protect my plants and landscaping?
Everything around the house gets covered or tied back before prep starts, and we keep wash water and paint off your beds, walkways and roof.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — fully licensed and insured, with documentation available with your estimate.
